New Patients

YOUR FIRST VISIT IS ALL ABOUT YOU

We’re excited to meet you and help you achieve your best smile! Your New Patient appointment will last about two hours, and we’ll take this time to truly understand your dental health needs and goals.

What to Expect:

  • Personalized Care: We’ll start by sitting down together to talk about your dental history, health, and any goals you have. Using your Smile Evaluation, we’ll help create a customized treatment plan that suits your individual needs.

  • Comprehensive Examination: Our doctor will perform a thorough exam of your teeth, gums, and airway, and conduct an oral cancer screening to ensure your overall oral health.

  • X-Rays: We’ll take x-rays of your mouth unless you’ve provided recent ones (less than a year old). If you have x-rays you’d like us to review, please bring them with you!

  • Dental Cleaning: After your evaluation, our skilled hygienist will perform a dental cleaning that’s tailored to your specific oral health needs.

What to Bring:

  • Any x-rays taken within the last year that you would like us to evaluate.
  • Your dental and medical history (if not provided in advance).
  • Your Photo ID
  • Your Insurance card

We want to ensure that your first visit is comfortable and informative, so you’ll leave feeling confident about your dental care plan. We’re here to help you every step of the way!

DENTAL INSURANCE

We work with all PPO and regular dental insurance plans. If you have dental insurance, we’ll verify your eligibility and benefits before your appointment. This is a service we provide to all our patients, but please keep in mind that it’s not a guarantee of payment by your insurance company. There may still be a balance due, and we’ll discuss payment options with you to make sure everything is clear and manageable.

PARKING

We provide free onsite parking in the covered garage attached to our office.  Please park in one of our 3 reserved spots on the second floor.  They are clearly marked with the Bayfront Dental logo just to the left at the top of the ramp.  If these spots are occupied, proceed to the 3rd floor or above.  Please do not park in any other spots on the second floor.  Please bring your parking ticket with you to the office and we will validate it for you.

APPOINTMENT ETIQUETTE

You will receive a text message and email to confirm your appointment, making it effortless for you to confirm promptly!!  Just respond “C” to the text message or click on the link in the email you receive–it’s that easy.

We don’t mean to bother you, but we will continue to contact you by text, email and phone call until your appointment is confirmed, and if we are unable to reach you 48-hours before the appointment, we will remove you from the schedule.

Keep in mind that we do have a 48-hour cancellation policy for New Patient appointments.  If you must make a change, kindly contact us 48-hours in advance to avoid a fee.

PATIENT INFORMATION FORMS

Before you arrive, we will send you the link to our Patient Information Forms. Please complete the forms prior to your first appointment, so that when you arrive, you’re ready to go! Completing your forms in advance will save you time, and allow the doctor to see you on schedule.

On the day of your appointment, remember to bring the following with you:

  • Your insurance card
  • Your Driver’s License or other form of Photo ID

If you have any questions about your appointment, feel free to call us at 305-530-1866.

Kindly give us 48-hours’ notice should you need to change your appointment, so that we can allocate that time to another patient.
