Patient comfort and education are key components in the way I practice dentistry. My primary focus is to make sure you're relaxed in the dental chair while I take the time to educate and inform you about your dental issues and how to maintain your optimal oral health. Understanding why certain procedures matter always eases any worries my patients may have. I find that this dynamic duo of comfort and knowledge not only reduces anxiety but also encourages regular visits for a healthier smile.
EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND
Growing up in Annapolis, MD, I knew I wanted to be a dentist since I was 8 years old. I earned B.S. in Human Physiology from Boston University and a Master’s Degree in Biology with a focus in Oral Biology from NYU. Shortly after receiving my Master’s Degree, I went on to New York University College of Dentistry where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery.
At NYU Dental, I was a Curriculum Representative for student council. After graduating NYU Dental, I practiced in Connecticut, until this year, when my husband and I relocated to Miami. When I am not in the office, you can find me taking walks at the beach with my husband and mini goldendoodle, Ruby.
MEMBERSHIPS AND CONTINUING EDUCATION
I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association and the South Florida Dental Association, and received my Invisalign Certification in 2021.
